3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FX 9194 has a high elongation and low compression set. It is targeted for molded goods and in addition, its process targets include compression, injection and transfer molding.
Dyneon FX 9194 fluoroelastomer can be compounded using standard water cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typicalfluoroelastomer formulations. The "dry" ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, FX 9194 fluoroelastomer should be banded on the mill several minutes prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks display excellent processing characteristics and storage stability.
