A natural coloured flat back paper with an aggressive rubber adhesive, specifically designed for applications where extra strength is required such as tabbing or for surface protection from abrasion.
Due to the thickness of the backing, this tape has very good tensile strength and abrasion resistance. No. 280 has been used satisfactorily for one hour at temperatures up to 120°C, since its greater bulk imparts greater heat resistance than might be expected. No. 280 should not be subjected to outdoor exposure.
