A natural coloured flatback paper with an aggressive rubber adhesive. The extra thickness imparts more strength and extra abrasion resistance for heavy duty applications.
Due to its extra thick backing, this tape has better tensile strength and abrasion resistance than No. 250 or No. 280. No. 300 should not be subjected to outdoor exposure. No. 300 has been used up to one hour at 150°C, since its greater bulk imparts greater heat resistance than might be expected.
No. 300 is designed for a wide variety of heavy duty sealing, reinforcing, holding and splicing applications. It has good abrasion resistance and is often used to mask for light sandblasting.
