AC64 is used to accelerate the cure of anaerobic adhesives and sealants. This may be necessary in applications involving inert or 'passive' metals or substrates where cure would otherwise be slow or inhibited.
Recommended when bonding applications are carried out at lower temperatures (<10°C). RITE-LOKTM anaerobic activators have been designed to accelerate the cure speed of threadlockers, retainers, sealants,
gasketing compounds and general metal bonding. When used on inactive substrates such as anodized metal, stainless steel, electroplated parts, etc, high strength bonding can be achieved.
